There’s something magical about summer evenings in Hull, when the city pulses with flavorful aromas, laughter fills the air, and the city centre transforms into a culinary playground. Welcome to Hull Street Food Nights, a beloved mini-festival turning Zebedee’s Yard into the ultimate street-food spectacular.

Cultural Flavours & Community Buzz

Started in 2017, this event is more than just street food, it's a celebration of global cuisine, local creativity, and community spirit. Now in its seventh year, the festival showcases dishes from diverse backgrounds, offering everything from Caribbean fusion to waffles, bao, Greek delights, and pup-tarts (yes, even dog treats!). In the past, there have been Vendors like Stretch Pizza, Shiok! Singapore Street Food, Everything Toastie, and Lili + Mila’s Empawrium bring the world to Hull’s doorstep.

The mix of live DJs, street theatre, and performances ensures every visit is fun, lively, and family-friendly. The charm isn’t just in the food, it's in gathering, connecting, and enjoying cultural diversity under the evening sky. HullBID, a key local organiser, sees the event as vital not just for feeding the city, but for energising its heart and boosting businesses around town.

Stamp your food passport with these yummy "taste stops” including:

  • “Global Bites & Grooves” – Highlighting the live entertainment vibe.

  • “Pup-tarts for Pooches” – A nod to the adorable dog-friendly treats debut.

  • “Mini Markets, Mega Tastes” – The mouthwatering variety at 30+ stalls.

It’s more than an event; it’s Hull’s evening cuisine festival, blending international flavours, local flair, and unforgettable nights.

Hull has so much to offer, and Hull Street Food Nights are proof of that; they’re the city at its most vibrant. It’s time to breathe life back into our streets, to gather for something light-hearted, flavour-filled, and fun. Food has always been the great connector, and these nights remind us why. While the 2025 dates are still to be confirmed, keep an eye on @hullstreetfoodnight on Instagram for the latest updates.
